@sol_hsa I'm reading source and making notes about class trees which sometimes need a diagram inline.

It's not too bad. Maybe writing the class names repeatedly to make links is bad ergonomics but i don't really mind so far.

The obsidian plugin for graphviz diagrams has me writing graphs in DOT by hand and actually I can not think of a better, faster way to do this

@inkscape B, because that operation is the inverse of adding the node. That is likely why I want to delete a node.

A is really “simplify path” and is super useful but I would be really surprised if I had a single node selected and deleting it modified other nodes control points. The corner (hehe) cases for B are also worse

@vivekgani I have been showing my coworkers the $400 Xreal Air2 glasses video display today, which can act like a big non-AR virtual monitor, for people who like that use case.

But I can't use it because it has a fixed IPD and my head is big and therefore so is my IPD - out of range.

@sol_hsa Yep. Windows is crushing it with regards to backwards compatibility.

Hmm I should fix the bug in the scrolltext ribbons / greets part of my demo "Primitive." Do people ever do that? Go back and fix bugs in their artwork they made like 10 years ago?

I just dug up a windows installer for a program released in 2005, and it just works.

So I mean, in comparison mac software from back then is for PowerPC which, um, will not run on current macs.

I am not sure why we have to reinvent the programming wheel every time we switch platforms or products or whatever.

But we do, so having strong fundamentals still pays off. (Which is good because fundamentals is all I got.)

@lritter Anyone who has implemented looped shuffle for music players knows what this is good for!
