I'm still not entirely clear on how federation works

Is there a Sony equivalent to Panasonic's SynchroShutter function? Curious if there's a way I can set my A7ii shutter speed (presumably via cfw) to something more granular for shooting CRTs. I would love to be able to shoot at 59.94hz or 60.08hz, but even the GH5 lets you shoot at 60.1, which is much closer and helps tremendously. I'm told Canon has a similar function. I don't expect to be able to do this with a ten year old camera but it would be extremely cool.
