worth noting that this is while working with the nicest administrative staff. it's not their fault

the issue is the ~entire~ culture in academia

(yes it still cost me about a month of my salary to come home, but it was worth it)

for those who supported me throughout the pandemic — tho not under the circumstance anyone would hope for — i finally got to visit my grandparents.

my heart is slightly more at peace
