Yo fam, got a sick deal for you - I'm offloading 15k RuneScape gold for the low, low price of 25k gold. That's a straight-up steal, trust me bro. Gotta pump up those gains, you feel me? Slide into my DMs if you wanna get in on this epic transaction.

#AstroBot is a fantastic game, but I feel everyone doesn’t acknowledge the insane juxtaposition between the mainline and “hidden” levels. The hidden levels, while creative, are ultimately frustrating. They rely on red herrings and “required” failures to create challenge. They waste player time with lack of checkpoints. It’s comparable to Mario Sunshine, which received criticism for its share of frustrating stages.
I love the game - my game of the year.

Last night, I played two games of #dota2. One 21 minute turbo match that led to a win, and one 70 minute long ranked match that ended in a loss.
@steffo Deadlock matches take such a long time. I’m waiting for turbo to come to Deadlock-that way Valve can treat me as second class in two games
Yo why do soccer ball look like that?
@rcpierce I agree, everyone can have their own opinion, and I tried to not have the negativity bring down my enjoyment. I felt that most negative takes might’ve come out of people maybe watching “too much”.
It’s an over used phrase, but maybe they should take a break and “touch grass”. Sometimes a break is all that’s needed to rejuvenate your enthusiasm in a hobby.
@rcpierce > But it has also provided ample evidence for the accuracy of Bielsa’s prophecy. This is the seventh European Championship this century. Only one has seen fewer goals. Slowly but surely the tournament has sluiced away any team — with the exception of Spain — that showed any audacity, any verve, any imagination.

@rcpierce Some quotes from Rory Smith:
> Euro 2024 has not been a bad tournament, not really. It has had a smattering of absorbing games, most of them involving Austria, Georgia or Turkey. It has been embroidered by a handful of wondrous moments: Italy’s last-minute equalizer against Croatia; Lamine Yamal’s sensational tide-turning goal against France; Cristiano Ronaldo’s crying because he missed a penalty.

@rcpierce There’s a lot of discussion on Reddit with people saying the fixtures were uninteresting and talented clubs were playing poor football.
There was also an opinion news letter from NYT soccer columnist, Rory Smith, which he discusses a similar opinion.
I just learned that “LGTM” isn’t an acronym for “Looking good there mate”, it means “Looks good to me”. :pika:
Sometimes I still think about the time in university when I went to a classmate’s flat and he wanted to play Switch, but the system was dead. So he did the class Nintendo “cartridge blow” into the Switch’s charging port and then slammed it into the dock. :nigmathink: :michaelwazowski:
Serious question, as a fairly new #football fan, I don’t understand why there’s so much hate around #euro2024. There been quite a few entertaining moments that go beyond “5 minutes of highlights”. I’ve been watching all of the playoff matches in full, and each match has felt distinct. I’m loving it, but all the dissatisfaction with the tournament is giving me a bad impression of the #soccer as a whole. It really kills my enthusiasm towards this new hobby.
Why so much hate for this celebration?
There's yet another open letter from the AI safety crowd. If they want more people to take them seriously, they need to get more specific
