Hi @ataripodcast. I’ve started scanning my old “Your Computer” magazines, not to be confused with the UK magazine of the same name, and I’ve seen scattered Atari articles and program listings. The magazines may also interest your listeners as there are computers covered that they may not be familiar with.
Happy Retro-reading at https://archive.org/details/@jongleur?&and%5B%5D=creator%3A%22your%20computer%22

A friend who was an early #Microsoft employee gave me a bunch of stuff to scan, including this wild book meant for employees only: “That Was Then… Celebrating a Decade (at least) at Microsoft.” It must be 200 pages. He called it “a collection of the resumes of employees that had been there over 10 years at some point (would have been post-1993 since my resume is in there.)” Sure enough, it contains dozens of unredacted resumes. (I haven't figured out the best way to scan it yet)

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Jason Moore mentioned on ANTIC podcast #99 the idea of training a large language model AI (like used in ChatGPT) to write Atari BASIC code. He has a team that is doing this for medical text and can do the same for BASIC.
What is needed are a minimum of several hundred examples of Atari BASIC programs in text files and with a description of what the code does as a header.
We would like to put together a team of 10-12 Atari enthusiasts to help curate the training examples.
Please let Jason know if you would like to participate and he will create a mailing list to coordinate.
10 years ago, on June 18, 2013, the very first episode of ANTIC dropped. I hope everyone is still enjoying it, because we don't intend to stop any time soon!! 🙂
