@Akaru88 Only one of my 1/144 kits came with a pilot figure. Much sad. The MG's come with a ton, though. Too bad I don't have a 1:100 scale scene base.
I made this to share some of my #hobby pictures, primarily #gunpla and #ActionFigures. He/Him. Once I figure this out, I may migrate to #pixelfed.

@Akaru88 Those are so good
Here's a very lazy Paint dot Net edit of the Kamehameha pose
I took these pictures of the #shfiguarts #Goku a bit back and haven't posted them yet. He's a lot more fun than I figured he would be. Still not a huge fan of the massive gap between the clavicle and the neck, though.

@Akaru88 I love scene bases so much. Especially that style, where it looks like they're being built or maintained. I actually 3D printed some roughly 1:144 scale technicians for mine, although enough (relatively rare) 1:144 scale pilot figures would probably look a lot better.
Crisis averted. I found it. It, uh, it never hit the floor. I guess it bounced off my chest and back onto the table. It blended in with my setup a bit and I didn't look for it to be up there until I got really desperate.
@yon No I'd totally pay a relatively small amount for a replacement piece but this is a 50+ USD kit. So the not too dumb part will have to do.
@MachineLordZero That's what I'm thinking. I'll keep looking for a while but next step is assembly without and seeing how it looks. Maybe painting some filler will do well enough.
@yon I'll give it a try. Not terribly hopeful at this point. Haha
Just dropped piece A12 of Epyon. Should be fun looking for what seems to be the smallest piece in a kit with many small pieces.
That is a lot of leg pieces
@MyDarkestTimeline01 There's a Bandai Hobby link now, so your preferred store may have it available for preorder. I know a couple US stores do. Looks like it'll be 70 USD, a bit more than even the Vidar.
@MachineLordZero Thankfully not. Haha. My one experience painting gunpla has me a bit slow to paint another. I do have a Pokémon kit that I intend to paint its shiny palette whenever I get the right metallic color, so maybe that will change my mind on painting articulated kits.
These are all the pieces of just the feet for Epyon. I feel like this one will take me a while. Loving all the surface detail, though
@gundam I took another picture to demonstrate the secondary manipulators and thought it looked nice enough to post. Grass is not to scale :blobcatupsidedown:

Wow you aren't wrong. That thing is kind of creepy. I believe the RB-79 Ball here is inspired by deep sea exploration crafts, and looking at the TMNT stills they may share that inspiration.
@Grass That sucks. It is a quick build if you decide not to decal it, but sometimes even if we physically have the time we don't have the "bandwidth".

Ball! :blobcataww:
No decals yet, and I'm considering painting the internal cage structure gunmetal (although I don't plan to display its inner frame). The 3(!) pilot figures that came with it have to be painted, too. Long term, it'll probably live on my desk at home or at work.
(Quick detour; I'll get started on Epyon next)
