Subtle orange or not so subtle orange?
Submitted the latest Alpenglow update with the new onboarding flow. Fixed a handful of bugs I hadn’t spotted since v11 shipped in September, and even put the app on a little diet by optimizing images and moving over to string catalogs. 🎉
Big update from the Buffer team 🎉
You can now reply to comments directly within Buffer, for LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
No more switching between apps to engage with your audience. It’s live on web, iOS, and Android, and available on every plan (even free).
Been meaning to add support for buying @alpenglowapp Pro outside of the app for a while. Made good progress last night setting up @revenuecat’s SDK.
Thrilled to share the most significant update to Buffer for iOS since I started building it in 2011. v15.0 brings a full Liquid Glass refresh, a brand new look, and under the hood, I've transitioned the app from mostly Objective-C to Swift.
There's still plenty more to do, but this feels like the best version of Buffer for iOS I've ever shipped, and I'm excited to hear what you think.
Alpenglow v11.0 is available now! Setting the stage for a big year for Alpenglow as it turns 10 years old in May and I have lots of things being cooked up. https://indieapps.space/@alpenglowapp/115209102807615407
😅
@matt1corey @thillsman Submitted Buffer on Thursday and still waiting. Submitted each version of Alpenglow yesterday and all approved. Hoping it gets approved overnight tonight as I want to start rolling it out to tackle any early issues before it gets more widely adopted.
@gregggreg Not used one of those for years. Usually pretty rapid so not needed them. Maybe I’ll go that route tomorrow but suspect they’ll have enough on their plate.
Only one left to go 😅
@thillsman definitely seems like it. Only one OS out of four left for @alpenglowapp. Maybe I need to convince them it’s indie as I’m the only engineer on it 😅
App Review queues remain a mystery. Alpenglow's iOS app is in review but Buffer which I submitted yesterday remains waiting.
Alpenglow for tvOS was approved in record time.
One down, three more to go.
Buffer v15.0 is all bundled up and submitted. Now to breathe and also cross fingers.
Need to tackle @alpenglowapp next. 🤪
Probably another build or two between now and submission.🌱
Giving my submissions a day or two of polish before submitting. Reviews have been quick in years past, so here’s hoping I didn’t just jinx myself 🤞
1247 commits later 😅 Wrapping up
@bufferapp iOS v15.0, just a few final touches before submission.
v15.0 finally tips the scale toward Swift being the primary language.
You know it's nearly time to submit iOS apps for review when builds stop showing up in ASC.
