Previously, he had challenged @SeldenOtter to a game of volleyball in the swimming pool - but going head-to-head with an otter in the water likely wouldn't have ended in his favour.

The monster decided the next best thing would be a winner-takes-all contest. Picking a race on solid ground, he was sure that his more athletic body would leave their opponent in the dust. He should have probably checked that Selden couldn't change into a form that can reach the finish line from the start there.

When life gets busy, it's always good to take occasional breaks, like going for a nice relaxing walk in the country... or in Erika's case in here, on them - stepping over the curvature of the planet's horizon with every step.

It's nice to go back to basics every now and then and let Erika go do what she does best - look colourful, cute and cataclysmic all at the same time.

Laalouche and Verdena are certainly an odd pairing and by all reasoning should never have even had the opportunity to get into a relationship, but despite everything that should have prevented them ever even meeting (different canons, different times...) they still did. ^^

Gotta say it's always fun seeing how characters you create develop over time and how sometimes some random ideas can coalesce into ideas you end up just loving <3
