Pretty awesome first impression!!

@pascal a few folks have expressed interest in assuming maintainership of moth.social. working our way thru that over the next week or so. hopefully I’ll be able to be a happy moth.social user. i also enjoy bluesky.

Sadly, we’re no longer able to reliably update Mammoth or operate moth.social at the level we want. Therefore we will be removing Mammoth from sale on the App Store. By the end of the January, we will also shut down Moth.social along with our other project, sub.club. If a community member would like to take over maintaining any of these projects, pls let us know.

Hey folks, a headsup that Mammoth is now operating without funding or a paid team. The good news is that we’re fully open source and continue to welcome community contributions, but realistically, we’re a lot slower to address even important bugs. New features would come from our open source contributors, at least for the foreseeable future. ❤️☮️

@tchambers basically correct: sub.club ingests any rss feed, publishes it back out as activityfeed content, incl basic support for rich text and rich media. And to follow that rss feed, you must be a paid subscriber. This enables NPR style benefits such as “paid supporters get exclusive access to the fediverse version of our content and can read it right in their favorite client (ivory etc)”

Thrilled to announce that sub.club now supports RSS. Just add your feed to your sub.club acct and we’ll create a premium ActivityPub feed. We also have a WordPress plugin & Write.as integration -> instant premium fediverse solution for news, blogs & newsletters.
