I love it when Apple boasts "...improvements in Safari...."
I won't use browsers that intimately connect to the OS, it's too easy a path for attack.

Thank you, we needed the chop saw and intended to donate the router to the MN Tool Library.

That’s excellent! What’s our next step?
Dog training class 2.
We’re going to be kicked out of class. 200 repetitions of 5 or so skills every week? Are you mad?
Rediscovering the pleasure of RadioParadise.com
And incredible playlist.
Reading Raymond Chandler books is a kind of anthropological fun. So many expressions to look up, so much learning in even the littlest details.
In your jail cell.

Some of these #OddPlacesToHideMoney game plays are actually pretty good hiding places.
Keep playing!

Is that…one train? Tram? Because that looks like it’s ALL the on-shift rolling stock for my cities’ light rail system.
Jeez, we are such pikers.
Apple’s recycling program is not a robot that disassembles the old product. It’s a shredder. Instead of salvaging parts for old products, they destroy them then send that to “recyclers” which basically can’t do much but maybe pick some metals out. If they burn a ton of electricity and use some incredibly toxic solvents.

Journalists and defense lawyers have been broiled by media since the 70’s. No run of the mill content features them as heroes. The occasional big splash character or minor supporting role, but no series.
You can only choose one to experience for the rest of your life.
"Perfect temps" are subjective, so 'perfect' is whatever you would personally consider to be perfect.
Please boost for a wider demographic.🙏
At one point, I thought hand-laid wooden canoes or kayaks. But then why not baskets?
Since the aliens crossed space to get here, their materials science will wildly exceed ours. So to their energy-density and -control. That means a solution thats probably low-ish tech.
I am perpetually wondering what the aliens would value in humanity.
Naturally I assume altruism because the alternative is our extinction. So from there, what would they treasure?
I think the handicrafts thing is to “manucentric” (from “manu” meaning hands. H/t @scalzi@mastodon.social ).
From the 70’s sf short story “The Big Front Yard” the hero started offering whatever he had around the house in trade, and the author told that by the aliens being fascinated by paint. What solution to a commonish problem would we be uniquely good at?

We bought the last “I ( heart) (Koenji)” sticker in the shop when we were last there. Can never sell the car it’s stuck to now. Every visit to Tokyo is the best, but that one will never be forgotten.

I had a Linear LWB USS.
Recumbents are wonderful, but they need a suspension. Your spine is nearly vertical, so almost no vibration isolation between seat and head. Riding a cobblestone street, I could literally not see anything, the world is blurry.
Every experienced rider’s first recumbent ride is similar, it takes a brief period to rewire your existing skill to the new purpose. The retailer I bought mine from said watching that moment happen was the greatest reward of his job. Wobble wobble wobble bang straight.
Trust me, you’ll never forget that moment, I wish everyone could have it.

“Never interrupt your enemy when they’re making a mistake.” -Napoleon. (By way of Scalzi’s “Starter Villian.”)
Back in the days of books, I could find a scifi novel or collection in a very short while. Now, I read blurbs or “reviews” for hours before picking one.
My most hated task. Reaching the end of a book is sad enough. The prospect of wading through so much crap to find a book to read.

I want to sneak into your house and abscond with this.
