@pcalcado As I understand it, MCP works by documenting object shape, so an LLM can quickly see the types of objects and what actions it can execute. Adoption seems pretty wide already and it means that you can externally manage a range of services.

Since forever using APIs has been a pain in the ass because every API is generally reasonably different and often has weird mappings to tasks that users want to perform… so they're hard to use.

I haven't used MCP, but seems like it could be useful
