othernet.xyz is a pretty amazing project that's currently going on. Supplying free internet to those in need of it.

@HesperaSmith they sort of have something like that (not really tho) in nyc. This like $70m apartment on Riverside drive sold a few years ago, and the basement had a tunnel that connected to the Hudson River, under a few roads. story goes that the family was so rich back in the day, they got deliveries via boat on the river, and the tunnel was how they brought everything inside. Perfect for storing wine, beer, etc.

@Gargron Hey! One cool feature would be rich links (I think that's what it's called?) where when you paste a link into the box i'm currently typing into, the info from that link pops up. You know what I'm talking about.
