As of April 1st, I’m starting a new professional chapter while sticking to my roots: I’ll be working as a freelance consultant.

At the same time, this is not a goodbye from INNOQ and Socreatory: I will remain an @innoq Fellow and keep delivering trainings for @socreatory.

In addition to that I am looking forward to a closer collaboration with @suksr. We will work together, join some efforts and collaborate more than we did before while being independent freelancers.

Finally, after many attempts I get to visit a workshop hosted by @RuthMalan ... it never worked out due to scheduling conflicts on my end. But the one at DDD Europe workes out for me. Just booked my ticket and can't wait for this one.

Listening to @bitboss talking about "Cohesion in Design and Modeling", specifically about SMC #Cohesion made me once more realize how important a mental model and terminology is. Hearing about the 7 types will help me think differently about it.

He also emphasized that software development and therefore Cohesion is not a merely technical thing. But more a #sociotechnical one.

Also the "Learning System Thinking" book by @diana was mentioned. A book I've read recently and can only recommend.

The amount of inspirations that I took home from DDD Europe is very high. In addition to that I‘m still surprised how many folks still hit me up with regards to my Context Mapping talks / content. Maybe I should think about doing more deep dives into topics around that.
