@liza I love to look at those prints inverted. Of course it looks like a night scene. But it lets me dive into the feeling of the ideas.
@liza I like the fact that some sky scrapers have aurports on the roof. In the 1990ies I invested in Cargo Lifter. The idea was great but the company was fake. What they did build though was the giant hangar for Zeppelins near Berlin. Today it is re used as a homiday resort "Tropical Island".

But I love the idea of such very silent drones. The Concorde is history, so are hovercraft ferries over the channel to england. Slower is okay today.
@liza This quote by the Ikea founder gave me such a thrilling new perspective that I talked the person at the checkout counter into selling me the yellow bag (which is usually not for sale). I never viewed it from the perspective that today we are still at the very beginning of inventions. Both technically and socially. A glorious future indeed.
@liza Thanks Liza for posting this. This is a read I was dearly waiting for. Im so interested in utopies. Brinsmade was surely influenced by Jules Verne. Unfortunately the newer utipies are rather influenced by Orwell and Huxley who in my opinion did not guess well about the future. They shaped it. And not towards a utopian but towards a dystopian vision.

@Shadowelf Home finally?
@sandra Erstmal akkus und leitungen durchmessen. Batterie tot oder kabelbruch wären meine ersten vermutungen. Kalte lötstellen oder eine gebrochene Platine. Weist du ob es jemals ging?
I created a true #retro website where I keep people updated on my #iMac
G3 restoration.
The website is 800x600 in #HTML 3.2. Works best with #Netscape Navigator.
Check it out.
