Germany's position has been reverted to UNDECIDED.

Despite expressing concerns about breaking end-to-end encryption, Germany refrained from taking a definitive stance on the Chat Control proposal during the September 12th LEWP meeting. A willingness to negotiate and compromise remains.

This is an unfortunate development as Germany is crucial to defeating Chat Control.

Že dolgo je ena mojih glavnih kritik fediverzuma podvajanje vsebin med instancami in posledična izguba nadzora nad lastnimi objavami.
Ravnokar namreč nenavdušeno ugotavljam, da se, očitno, sploh ne morem več prijaviti v svoj račun na ex-Calckey (kasneje Firefish) instanci Misskeya. Kako naj izbrišem objave na tistem računu, če do njega sploh ne morem več dostopati? Če ta instanca očitno niti več ne obstaja?
Morda obstaja opcija, a za povprečnega tviteraša zelo verjetno ne bi prišla v poštev.

Ideja decentralizacije in fediverzuma me je ob prvi veliki tviterski migraciji dovolj pritegnila, da se mi je zdelo zanimivo in vredno poglobiti v delovanje protokola, raziskovanje alternativ Mastodonu itd. Se mi zdi, da relativno (seveda ne popolnoma) uspešno.
Čemu ta dramatičen uvod?
Ker vedno bolj razumem vse, ki trdijo, da fediverzum ni optimalna alternativa ex-Twitterju. Ali Instagramu ali Redditu. Do tega manjka še veliko, oz., bolje, to nikoli ne bo mogel postati.

@JanaP Za kakšno resno plavanje so kopalne hlače itak neprimerne, za rekreativno pa, vsaj meni, ni moteče. Glede premočenosti pa – ja, se strinjam. Če imaš spodaj kopalke, se hitreje posušijo kot gate, pa vseeno.

@JanaP To je ta večna debata, ali se kopalne hlače nosi s kopalkami/gatami spodaj ali brez. Jaz jih nosim z, nekateri striktno brez. Ena možna razlaga je, da je odvisno od prisotnosti mrežice v kopalnih hlačah – če je, brez, če je ni, pa s kopalkami/gatami.

Update: Tole filtriranje objav na Mastodon strežnikih glede na jezik deluje bolj slabo. Zanimalo me je, ali lahko na kakršenkoli način dobim feed izključno slovenskih objav s karseda veliko različnih strežnikov, ker je tukajšnja funkcionalnost seznamov precej nepriročna (slediti moraš vsem, ki jih želiš dodati na seznam). Vsaj zaenkrat je odgovor očitno ne.
