@mos_8502 Sounds a bit Apple III.
My first computer was a C128, and everything has been downhill since.
Interested in retro and modern retro projects.
I know how to code.
@mos_8502 Sounds a bit Apple III.
@rolenthedeep Hehe, nah, we had great internet back then. Swedish college on the Swedish university backbone. Vrooooom.
It was more because you wanted to customize the kernel for your hardware and needs. It’s become a lot more plug and play since 1996 :)
@drahardja Hehe. They sure will, but the reality is that advertising isn’t in that great of a spot and my guess (and I am nobody) is that we are going to see record profits and then a hard drop out of nowhere.
Also I think more of us simply need to stop caring about what shareholders want, instead of what the people want. It’s for the people after all.
@rolenthedeep I did it a whole bunch of times back in the day. It was a common thing to set up your kernel and then compile it, and do it again when a new version arrived.
Linux nerds got lazy :)
@carstenfranke You are far beyond anything I’d attempt at this point :)
Funny enough raw ability isn’t the issue. But still, not going to happen :)
@blogdiva He’s worse than Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen combined by a wide margin.
@drahardja The only even partial solution is making the collection, storage, transfer, sale, use, and possession of personal information illegal outside of the bare necessities needed to do businesses.
Make it illegal to be used for just about anything. It will only get worse.
@pyoor Good luck, yikes.
@mos_8502 Haven’t see S1, was worried it was too sad.
@TopazRabbit @stevendbrady @Sonic2k The Swedish dub had the opening in Swedish as well, and for once it was actually good :)
@rolenthedeep You’ve never compiled the Linux kernel?
@carstenfranke You have more guys than I do!
(I do have the shut off values though :))
@mcnado He’s also a traitor, we know he wants nothing but the worst for this country and all its allies.
@TopazRabbit Old school cable management there :)
@grumpygamer A good bug can be so good that you want to hear about someone else’s bug.
Surprised that we haven’t seen a video games based on that idea. Or more probably, I missed it. Specifically about bugs that is, not mysteries. Those we have seen :) And we like them.
@mac84tv Poor guy, it’s a terrible thing to go through. A lot of people are in terrible situations now.
@inthehands Pretty sure that the couch man won’t be allowed to do anything as a president except what his handlers tell him. He’s as dumb as the dementia felon, but he seems to feel fear so easier to control (as oppose to manipulate).
That’s part of the problem, everything is corruption.
@drahardja Sounds like Christmas for a certain subsection of YouTube video makers :)
It’s interesting to see them trying to fix flooded and crashed cars, but I very much get why they get written off.
At this point I wouldn’t buy a vehicle that’s been in Florida.
@mos_8502 From my limited knowledge the II (and friends) lets you read the “graphics” memory, while the GS has its own.
I’d love a faster CPU and HDMI in my GS but I don’t want to pay the prices you need to:(
(And no GS on the MiSTer yet, sounds like it died.)
