I’ve written a little web app in Elixir and I gotta say that I really miss types :( maybe I haven’t written enough Elixir to feel comfortable, but I just hate the idea that I can write runtime errors in 2025. I love the OTP concepts, and guess I could use Gleam, but I just feel pulled into the direction or Rust

Bummed that elixir is still pretty niche, golang is a 0 aura language

• If you work at Apple, can you really keep working there in good conscience after Tim Cook’s $1M payola to Trump?
• Or do you just tell yourself it’s not your problem, and just the cost of doing business in America? Which, maybe it is?
• But… is it? Or is it the cost of running a business as big as Apple is… with a president as self-serving as Trump?
• Should a business even *be* as big as Apple?
• How much did Tim Cook donate to Biden’s inaugural fund?

I’m left with lots of questions.

@matthewbischoff @matt +1 to what MB already said. You could probably encode your info into an xmp tag (maybe AltTextAccessibility?) but I don’t think this is a standard for any app really exiftool.org/TagNames/XMP.html

An SQL injection bug that lets you bypass airport security and even JUMP SEAT. Sure. This is great. I’m not having a heart attack or anything. TSA response is definitely also chef’s-kiss. *breathes into a paper bag* ian.sh/tsa

Anyone have tips for project set up for a multi browser extension project that shares code between say a Firefox extension and a chrome extension?

I’m guessing I can just like jam webpack or even just some npm scripts but I have no idea what a modern solution is
