@scrappapertiger
My green gooseberries have spikes like that on them, maybe if the main body has shrunk a bit that might make the spikes seem more prominent?

anyway yeah i agree with others it looks like mildew!

@vkc I worked on one for a while (released last year). There's really not a lot of use-cases where using a standard interface (phone/pc) isn't easier and less ambiguous.

It's possible that's a generational thing - linking pertinent types of decision making to visual and text cues, rather than to entirely internal (thought-based) cues. It'll be interesting to see what newer generations make of it.

And yea ofc privacy is trash but afaik there are FOSS alternatives.

I mean, I would've hoped everyone I'm connected with would have already grown out of the fairy tales of 'dominant, alpha males' and 'submissive females', but I still think it's worth sharing this so that we've got specific and also awesome examples in our pockets:

Spider on my balcony just caught a whole entire bumble bee and has so far managed to pin down one wing with webbing but I honestly feel like it's an epic of moby dick proportions being played out on a tiny scale.

Oh, I remember: ground ivy, that's the name of the purple one.

@cameraface speedwell is my favorite! I love the way it sparkles over newly dug earth when left to its own devices. I'm not a good picture taker but this is one of my favs of my allotment 'weeds'. Scarlet pimpernel, speedwell, and something purple or rather from the mint/oregano family.

A close up shot of a patch of scattered, tiny flowers: scarlet pimpernel, blue speedwell, and a purple flower from the mint/oregano family.

@slimepsychic if you click through alternative options you seem to be able to read up to 100 articles for free without a sub.

Otherwise maybe check out FB group "Ask for PDFs from People with Institutional Access" which usually can get anything.
