@dotstdy @pervognsen canonical is one of the few companies with listings for Rust jobs (they spam them everywhere with different locations but remote available) but as soon as I saw the obsession around high school I immediately felt the vibes were off, it definitely makes more sense reading that Wikipedia entry though.

And that's the problem. I did not ask for it. I do not want it. I can't get rid of it (AFAIK). But Google et al need stonks to go up which currently means shoving AI bullshit down everyone's throats and I am so fucking tired of it.

@dotstdy I would rather punch myself in the face than work with protobufs when I am not forced to.

2 hours after I post in team chat what I'm working on today, politely informed it's a red day, luckily the annoyance of working on bullshit (protobufs) is quickly washed away when I can work on my hobby project (bittorrent implementation) instead.
