@hotdogsladies @alexcox RE the latest DBF, I’ve been installing the dev beta.1 on my every day iphone and iPad since 2013, and I’ve been using MacOS betas on both of my daily driver machines for 5+ years. I don’t do dev work, I just like to use the new shiny✨
I’ve never had any major melt downs, data loss(#backup) or bricked devices that couldn’t be restored, and usually the worst thing is having to restart more frequently than “normal.” I use a lot of the same apps yall use for audio/video.

Hot take: Star Wars is like The Beatles. Marginally good and widely consumed by the masses with no personality. It deserves a spot amongst the greats, but I don’t think any of it deserves a theme park or a whole week of dedicated days.

I’m not sure when this feature noting potential thermal and battery impact was added to iOS, but iOS 18.1 b2 is the first time I’ve encountered it. I think this is a really cool feature, but it would be more beneficial for Apple to display this as part of the “your phone has been updated to iOS X.x” dialogue at first boot after update. @atpfm @siracusa #iosbeta #iOS181Beta2
