My afternoon time on the patio the last few days has felt particularly meditative. Not because it's quiet - the noise of the city can sometimes build to a crescendo - but the absence of human voices gives all the commotion a calming sense of stillness.

Recorded another interview for the channel today. Beforehand, it's like the nerve-wracking up for a live music performance, but then once it starts, it's all friendly conversation and a lot of fun. We will definitely keep doing more of these 🎙️

Watched a version of the film "Run Home Slow" with a restored audio track. This is a weird, trippy, dark western from the early 1960s with a soundtrack by Frank Zappa. One can hear a lot of the elements that would later be found in both the Mothers and his orchestral music.
