Central Station by DŠ
When I first visited Malmö, I walked around the city, and Central Station was love at first sight. I love that bricks-only style (and the orange colour) because it is beautiful and simple. So, I named my PXF Central Station in honour of it…d8-D

Oasys MiniHollywood

In Tabernas, the only desert in Europe, you'll find an authentic Western-themed Mediterranean Theme Park. It features live shows, a large zoological reserve with over 800 animals from 200 different species, pool areas, various restaurants, educational activities, events, and celebrations.

This location has been the setting for numerous Western movies. Renowned director Sergio Leone used the unique landscapes for his famous Spaghetti Westerns featuring Clint Eastwood. Scenes from "A Fistful of Dollars" (1964), "For a Few Dollars More" (1965), "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" (1966), and "A Fistful of Dynamite" (1972) were filmed in the Western Village.

Additionally, the Oscar-winning movie "Lawrence of Arabia" starring Peter O'Toole was also filmed here.

Good morning from Valkenburg - Valkenburg aan de Gael, Netherland

Valkenburg aan de Geul is a municipality situated in the southeastern Dutch province of Limburg. The name refers to the central town in the municipality, Valkenburg, and the small river Geul passing through it.
Sieges and conquests have been the recurrent theme in the history of Valkenburg, especially in connection with Valkenburg castle, seat of the counts of Valkenburg (or Falkenburg). In December 1672 the castle was once again destroyed by Dutch troops led by William III, trying to prevent the armies of Louis XIV of France from capturing it, this time not to be rebuilt.

In the 19th century, because of the natural environment of the area, Valkenburg became a holiday destination for the well-to-do in the Netherlands. Tourism developed, especially after in 1853 the railway from Maastricht to Heerlen and Aachen opened. Valkenburg railway station is the oldest surviving station in the Netherlands.

In the beginning of the 20th century, Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers lived in Valkenburg for several years. He helped develop tourism by designing a hotel, an open-air theater and a copy of the catacombs of Rome. He also restored the medieval church and designed several tombs and a chapel in Gothic Revival style in a graveyard situated on Cauberg, a steep hill outside the town center.

Rheinpromenade Düsseldorf - Düsseldorf, Germany

Rheinpromenade Düsseldorf with The Rheinknie Bridge and Rhein Tower

The Rhine embankment promenade, designed between 1990 and 1997 according to the plans of architect Niklaus Fritschi, is trendy.

No wonder the promenade between the old town and the river has so much to offer: balmy breezes and spectacular sunsets, restaurants with a view of the Rhein River, Rheinkniebrücke over it, and the Rhein Tower in the background, a flight of steps, and also the city beaches for lingering together in summer.

The Rheinknie Bridge connects the Düsseldorf district of Oberkassel on the left bank of the Rhine with the districts of Carlstadt and Unterbilk on the right bank. Not far from the Rheinkniebrücke, on the right bank of the Rhine, is the state parliament and the government district of North Rhine-Westphalia. On the left bank of the Rhine to the north are the Rhine meadows in front of Oberkassel, where one of Germany's largest funfairs is held once a year.

The Rhine Tower, Dusseldorf's most recognisable landmark, was created by architect H. Deilmann and built between 1979 and 1982. It is situated on the edge of the city centre's southern district at the entrance to the Media Harbour, directly next to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament and the WDR. At the top of the tower, at a height of 172.5 metres, is QOMO, a restaurant featuring 144 seats that rotates around its axis once every 72 minutes.

Posthusplatsen - Malmö, Sweden

Beautiful view of the old harbour, the lighthouse and the University Bridge

The 1925 lighthouse is located on a pier at the end of the Hjälmarekajen quay. The lighthouse is white, and its lantern and dome are red. The lighthouse has a nice view of the newer surrounding harbours, the old harbour and part of the city.

The 2004 University Bridge is made of steel and is rotatable. Its length is 75 metres. It is 19 metres wide and has three car lanes and footpaths for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge is reminiscent of the more significant Öresund Bridge, which connects the coasts of Sweden and Denmark.

Central station - Malmö, Sweden

When I first set foot in Malmö, I was drawn to the city's charm. Malmö Central Station, in particular, captivated me with its unique blend of history and modernity. It was more than just a train station; it symbolised my connection with Malmö.

I love that brick-only style (and the orange colour) because it is beautiful and simple. This architectural style, Brick Gothic or Baltic Gothic, originated in the Baltic Sea region and has influenced Nordic buildings for centuries. Its influence can be seen in the design of Malmö Central Station and many other structures across the Nordics.

But it was a bit different in this case. I fell in love…not even with this one building, but with Malmö. The station's bustling atmosphere, the friendly locals, and the sense of history permeating the air all contributed to my growing affection for this city.

Yes, maybe it was because it was a beautiful sunny day. The azure sky was without any sign of clouds over my head. There were no tourists around, and I wasn't in a rush. Since that day, I have been to Malmö several times, but I am still exploring beautiful new places there.
