I currently study American Kenpo Karate at Desert Dragons in Peoria Arizona. I study under Scott Gonzalez and have achieved a rank of 3rd degree black belt. I am also studying Buot Balintawak Eskrima with Mr. Kim - every occasion that I get.
Tested for my 3rd black today. Tested with a bunch of teenagers and had such a great time. They made me feel young again…🙂

This post is my injury squad - Josh split my brow open and Stephanie beat me like a rented mule all weekend - I did a teensy bit of bruising right back.

Stood up a new, new mastodon instance, so I'm creating an #introduction post for this server.
I'm a developer/manager with most of my focus on sql (MS SQL and Oracle primarily) and C#. I manage a newly created, small team of devs focused on creating a fully cloud hosted application.
In my spare time, I also study two martial arts: American #Kenpo karate and #Balintawak #Eskrima. I decided to start this server with a focus of hosting individuals interested in either #kenpo or #balintawak.
