Sure, I can up my withholding but how much do I’m not overpaying and getting a refund? Curious how others handle it. So far I just suck it up and pay a big bill that includes an underpayment penalty.
As an employee who receives RSUs as part of my compensation, filing taxes is one of the scariest events of every tax season. Will I owe $10? $10k? More? What’s my penalty going to be? It’s especially difficult as I also receive cash bonuses that are just as variable as the price of stock.

This flight is something else. Fuel paperwork was wrong and caused a delay. Then an elderly passenger asked to deboard after the door was closed. Then because the door was reopened they let passengers who were late and missed the boarding call board. Finally pulled away from the gate 30 minutes late, get on the taxiway and we’re rolling and they slam the brakes hard sending stuff flying. It’s totally a flight that should be bound for Florida.
