Well, May suddenly opened up. Teacher booked a role so may classes had to be canceled.

But, at least this week, my class intends to meet up anyway, just sans teacher.

An acting coach of one of my favorites acknowledged my existence on Instagram and I feel very accomplished for it.

@EllenInEdmonton @BootsChantilly It also has to do with what pieces of what DNA we get from who. Having grandparents from a certain place doesn't mean you will have DNA from there. Your parent could have entirely missed that piece and have nothing or very little to in turn pass on.

@BootsChantilly I'm not adopted, but yes. I'm pretty much what I thought I would be, and then some. Also could be possible that your physical origin country was France even if it's not part of DNA.

Trying to identify my own stims and I think I found my go to - CRACKING MY KNUCKLES! Drives so many people around me absolutely nuts when I do it. But I have to! Sometimes I wouldn't even notice I was doing it until someone nearby complained about the sound.

No power with plenty of phone data and battery means I can catch up on some ebooks I currently have without obtaining new ones. 😎

I am just now realizing this and it's one of those little things where I'm convinced we were meant to know each other.

@PeteLittle1970 Yeah, I feel like I'm in the closet all over again, and there are certain people I will always be closeted to because of how they are. I feel like this will very much end up being the same.

I've made a go of it this long, seems like there's not much point in telling people that would make my life harder for it, but finding the supportive ones is surely invaluable.

@PlaystationPixy Yeah, I noticed that. I think it's why it took me so long to get to the point of being, 'yeah, there's no denying it.'

Also just told a friend I've known considerably longer than my suspicions and she was like, "Yeah... Wait, you didn't know?"
So, I guess it's obvious in some crowds.

@PlaystationPixy Thank you for that. There's also only so many times one can watch a 10 thing, 25 thing highlight video and have 90-100% 'ooh, that's me!' moments before coincidence becomes solid pattern.

Honestly a lot of it seems to be exposing itself as I find myself working three times as hard as getting maybe half as far as others not putting the same effort in - for anything that I do.

But I'm also a Double Virgo INFJ, so it fits in nicely.

Well. A couple of years of pondering, researching, and quiz taking with consistent results... I'm fairly confident I'm on the ASD scale.

I just did a well reputed online assessment and my score for AT is 167 of 200 vs. NT score of 70 of 200, so it's pretty solid.

Not sure if this allows me to use #ActuallyAutistic or not, but we shall see.
