I am just being "served" 5-10s delays when trying to play a video since a few days now.

It's like watching an ad. Just as a black screen, and with no sound. So actually still better than watching an ad.

I'm also on FF and uBlock Origin.

@yora since yesterday or so, videos start playing only after a 5+ sec delay, and there is a small popup on the bottom left corner.

Love that passive-aggressive tone on YT about their recent "wonder why your videos start playing with a delay? click here to find out!" popup which I assume is their most recent anti-ad-blocker move.
