@nobtaka @louie won’t we be able to generate realistic octopus now or maybe the cartoon is easy to apply ML to?

As a major stream person in @overcastfm I’m actually an advocate for the download method. My commute has a cell outage a few minutes in for 15 minutes. There were many occasions wherein streaming lost my progress and/or locked up in poor service. Request! Please prioritize download by playlist. I took a lot of time to create and prior use podcasts I never miss into a Must Listen. @atpfm for example. It feels duplicitous to tap each podcast one at a time telling it to download automatically. Congratulations and nice work! 🙏
@overcastfm syncing took quite a while but I didn’t mind once launched everything looks great!
@shoptalkshow I’m not following the metaphor/analogy? Edit: I found the part of the episode.
@mark I’ve never considered or attempted to use ChatGPT for images. This is why.
@nikitonsky @againsthimself oh that’s brilliant. Seems to work if content is offscreen?
This is everything you really need to know about the Trump attack today. edit: an hour later a link to BBC replaced the X link. https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/c51yly4085lo h/t @bobkmertz
@louie companies had librarians and rolling shelves of data. They were fallible.
@claytoncubitt I read the screenshot first and said to myself, “you found a taxi.”
@tobiasgies @donw @ct @viticci @nileane @viticci can we start a hashtag? #inhonorofrecoil #honoringrecoil

@louie they aren’t aware of that nuance.
@mgs What? Are. Those. Glasses.
@hotdogsladies I can’t with your brain sometimes.
OK, interesting: iOS 18 beta 3 seems to be doing an intelligent auto-dark tint on some third party app icons. It’s reliably triggered by being a clearly delineated shape on a white background. Other icons just get a slight ‘darkening’ effect applied.
BUT! check out that Facebook icon invert. Some kind of computational icon design happening here. Wild.
