We humans really like to put people into neat little boxes to make ourselves more comfortable, but the human experience is far more nuanced than that. If real connection is our goal, we can’t allow ourselves to define others by strict and narrow-minded criteria. I love you for who you are, not who I want you to be. How my brain wants to define you is entirely irrelevant.

Be who you are and let others do the same.
