#whamageddon "Carry on" a great film but damn you! I made it to the 22nd Dec. So close.

@devlin @electron_greg if it has mic, remote, and ear connections it may be possible to connect it to, at least, a Amstrad CPC, zx spectrum, BBC, Acorn and MSX. No retail software will be available on it but for home mastered tapes it could be fun

@electron_greg @devlin it seems another Epson machine also had the a microcasette drive. This time built into a more clamshell laptop form factor (albeit with an LCD display again) but it runs cpm so counts as a proper computer.

@devlin Epson hx20 is the only one I can think of. Not exactly a home micro tho, clearly targeted the business user.

Anyone in Ireland who fancies a retro game or 2 drop me a message, the more the merrier!

Retro weekender you say? This will be my base for the next 10 days.

A room with 9 TVs or monitors, each with a different retro game or computer system against red curtains.

@richardtroupe If you are still using GDMenu to build your SD card, I whole heartedly recommend a move to OpenMenu blog.nerv.pro/open-menu-replac

@richardtroupe are they genuinely updateable?

2024-09-16

@richardtroupe I am now even considering upgrading my 5.5 clone gdemu to the latest upgradable 5.20 clone lol

2024-09-16

@richardtroupe I know what you mean. I am still waiting to go genuine on the GDEMU in the dreamcast

2024-09-16

@richardtroupe I upgraded my clone to a real one earlier in the year. although the clone worked a genuine on became available from stoneage gamer at a reasonable price I took the opportunity to go genuine.

I cannot listen to the racist bilge of Suella Braverman on LBC any more. Whoever thought she was a viable stand in for @mrjamesob needs to give their head a wobble 😉 time to head back to Radio Caroline or Laser 558

@reidrac Clearly Well Deserved :) Nice work.

@richardtroupe don't worry about it, the filament for one case does not used enough filament to bother about. Postage from Galway to NI will be minimal too. If you wanna make a donation to the RNIB then I'll leave that up to you :)

I'm showing some love for the unloved.

The Amstrad GX4000 is often overlooked, and arguably for good reasons, but the modern homebrew scene has made it a compelling way to play Amstrad computer games due to the large number of conversions to the console.

Some Switchblade will do rightly. 👌

@richardtroupe You need a case for that C4CPC, If you want one, I can post one to you. I've currently got Grey filament in the 3d printer which is a close match to the Amstrad Badge
