π We've just published another "minor" release for
@filamentphp
that should be a major upgrade to your experience!
v3.2 brings a ton of new features, and we really hope you can make good use of them!
More details about each feature in the thread, blog post soon!
π Today we just launched FilamentPHP v3, with...
A ton of new features π
A completely refreshed UI (by @zepfietje) π¨
A beautiful new website (by @HassanZahirnia) π
Livewire 3 support πͺΌ
Double the docs of v2!! π€π
Visit http://filamentphp.com andcheck the upgrade guide: https://filamentphp.com/docs/3.x/panels/upgrade-guide
infobox / infolist it is! thanks for your contributions π
@n8udd it's a new component for my UI package. other components are "form", "table", "notification", "action" and "widget". it doesn't just apply to people, it can be any set of data.
I think I've found the right word... but let me double check myself
π€ How would you name this UI component?
- Needs to be a noun
- Only 1 word
I'm thinking to call it a "dictionary", because of the key-value pairs?
I've also had "description" as a suggestion, because it's describing an applicant?
Help me out if you want to waste time π
@stefanzweifel thank you Stefan!
π’ Today is my last day at @getstagent@twitter.com. It's been such an exciting journey, building a huge SaaS from scratch, and now it's time for a new challenge
I'm excited to announce that I'm joining @kirschbaum_dev@twitter.com on Monday. Their team is incredible and I can't wait to be part of it! π
@elliot Thanks π
Compare Eloquent's human-readable query language (especially when handling relationships) to literally any other ORM or query interface.
It's not just a case of naming things well that allows you to accomplish that. It requires genuine skill to actually get it to work
The more you work with Eloquent / query builder internals, the more you understand how much of a feat it was to create a system with so much internal complexity, while retaining API simplicity for the end user.
Getting knee-deep in how it works is a great way to discover this.
Maybe I did too much in 2022 π It's interesting how my work patterns have changed over the years due to life events etc. Going from inconsistent freelancing to study periods to full time employment.
This new AI refactoring from @marcelpociot@twitter.com / @beyondcode@twitter.com is so useful. IMO, it's even more valuable than all of what-the-diff's original functionality put together.
Now I won't need to pull remote repos locally / battle with GitHub's online editor to make changes!

Illustrated by the awesome @JessPickup98@twitter.com!
At @getstagent@twitter.com, we're looking for a new full-time developer π¨
The right person is very familiar with the TALL stack - the entire SaaS uses it. Some Filament experience is helpful
π³π± Dutch-preferred, not required
Email mischa@stagent.com if interested!
Retweets appreciated π€
β‘οΈ Additionally, you can even specify which font service is used to fetch your fonts! All in PHP.
We will support Google Fonts, Bunny Fonts, local fonts...
and a new plugin for @spatie_be@twitter.com's laravel-google-fonts package - which caches Google fonts locally!
RT @zepfietje@twitter.com
Filament v3 allows you to configure a custom font by just passing its name. π₯
Great ideas pop up on weekend calls with @awcodes1@twitter.com and @danjharrin@twitter.com. π

@flanger I would start now! upgrading should be quite easy
I've had a new landing page and merch for Filament ready for ages, can't wait to show you! Waiting for v3 to launch π
And before you ask, no release date yet... we are waiting for Livewire
πΊ If you have never used @filamentphp@twitter.com and you want a nice overview of some of the main features we have to offer, then this is the video for you! Enjoy βΊοΈ
I've already translated it into a written guide as well, which will be the first page in our documentation for v3.
