if you talk about low level - you can make custom wayland protocols

from app side - wayland is million times easier to handle than x11, and there glfw or sdl that just abstract everything

@ropoko and large streamers/youtubers - just use AI generated music as background by now - because who care

those "internet complains" is literally nothing - everyone already use AI-gen music - same as AI art and everything

@yurisizov you have full control over opensource software - people cutting annoying gnome/xfce/gimp/etc features even back to 2015.
Most of opensource software support easy way to configure anything, but even in worst case - removing some menu item from source code is minute task literally.

people who tried roblox - they do not see any reason to play anything else (as game)

only reason why roblox players play fortnite or league or other pupular large esport - is "million dollars prize pool" - they see "money number in esport" as reason to pay attention to video game
