p5.js 2.0 is released! This now includes a way to make shader art just using JavaScript using this new thing called p5.strands! https://www.davepagurek.com/blog/writing-shaders-in-js/
p5 2.0 will launch soon and will include a way to write shaders with the JS you're used to rather than having to learn GLSL! Luke, who wrote the feature, is making a tutorial where you can make this without writing a line of GLSL:
