I'm aware that the mocking nature of Robolectric doesn't make the stack simpler, but at a certain project size, it might be worth the extra effort.
It is really nice that the #Kotlin dependency accessors that Gradle's version catalogs create support nested dependencies like this (i.e. a dependency that can declare additional sub-dependencies). It's a small thing, but one of those I can appreciate.
