I need some advice from devs.
I do my python development locally (i.e. not in a docker container) because debugger, and linting/formatting. I'm not the best dev, but I am a SME on the domain.
Our best backend dev works in docker. He ignores the problems pane (because he doesn't have a local python env), and when he commits working code, I can't make just the small corrections. There's always loads of type errors and formatting problems.
How do I bring up how his workflow needs to improve?
When people talk about "survival of the fittest" or "the crime of empathy," I want clips like this to be pressed into the sides of those people's self-serving dumbfuck heads until they cave in.
A lot of people missing delivery of the thing I didn’t order ;)
I recommend *not* watching The Big Door Prize on TV+.
It has its moments, some intriguing characters. And a theremin. But it was cancelled after two seasons, so will forever remain unresolved.
Ich würde die Zeitschrift kaufen.

I suppose I have to get out of bed. Sniffs. Definitely need a shower. Food delivery in 45 minutes.

@trainguyrom @futurebird I was going to mention Big Clive. I don’t understand electronics beyond what components are in isolation, but Big Clive is a great watch.
Just used m00np1g to send Father’s Day card because I completely forgot about it, despite a reminder.
Needs must, but I really hate using the site. The tools are fine, but getting to the checkout is quite a the upsell assault course.
You youngsters take it for granted, but it was fiendishly difficult to get angry at strangers before the invention of the internet
@charlesarthur liquid glass heralds the year of Linux on the desktop?
@snaptophobic your story was fascinating and touching. Thank you for sharing.
@siracusa didn’t know this was an issue. I got something very similar from Amazon (UK) back in December when I got the phone.
Am I missing some subtle detail?
Uk thirsty driving tip: at some M&S shops at services sell chilled lemonade for about £1/L.
If you really want 500ml chilled, I think they’ll exchange a bottle for your firstborn.
