It both interests and annoys me to see how much the word "hacker" has been entirely hijacked by the cybersecurity industry to mean something almost entirely different from what it used to only a decade ago.

why do people only care about popular mappers? what's the point of submitting a map to one of these jams if people are just gonna praise the maps from popular people and leave the rest out? ugh.

@reboot Lot of projects nowadays are either just remakes of goldsrc mods (because people want to be black mesa) or over ambitious stuff made by people with a callous disregard for their fellow devs. I can see how i might get some hate for this but i personally feel like most of the actual creativity that was on the scene during the 2000s is either long gone or not as active. The crowd that remained seems mainly interested in fame or social media clout.

so today i turned 26 and i got inspired by @eukara to do some cooking of my own, first photo is chili, second is a carrot cake.
