Also, in the rare event that enough people do want to play Not Enough Cards (because it is a banger set), the LGS does not have enough product because it *is* a banger set and they've already sold out.

Or the other case where they *say* a set *can* be played as Not Enough Cards but it's actually meant for Too Many and Normal Amount players to get their favourite reprints. Plus for some reason it costs more to play those sets as Not Enough.

#NintendoDirect for the #Switch2 was pretty exciting, the tech is interesting (though the GameChat streaming feature looks relatively unpolished, tbh). I'm also surprised at the range of 3rd party games in the pipeline and the early launch date.

Looking at the launch prices of the console and games from other regions, I'm not too optimistic of the expected local MSRP, either.

I think I'm happy to hold off and wait for the mid-gen tech refresh, if/when there is one.

I'm interested in what new gimmicks (non-derogatory) they might showcase, but my main considerations are on switch 2 exclusives, and performance improvements on ports (*cough* *cough* pokemon). Otherwise I'm happy to wait out a few more years for the inevitable tech-refresh.

I've clearly not learnt my lesson from the 'Switch Pro'

And non-videogaming stuff:

- Replaced my stock CPU cooler with an aftermarket cooler
- Restringed both my acoustic guitars
- Got a new digital keyboard and started my piano 'derusting'
- started going for a couple drafts at a LGS that I'm new to (hoping to do a few more after Tarkir Dragonstorm releases, budget and time permitting)

Thought I'd share my gaming 'achievements' this quarter:

- 'Completed' #FFX for the first time (was fun; stories and characters are great, but I could do without the excessive JRPG grind)
- Completed the Pokedex and caught Arceus in #Pokemon Legends: Arceus
- Reached the end-screen of #Hades2 (kept intentionally vague bc spoilers)
- Cleared all 8 Stakes and 15 Decks in #Balatro
- Completed both #Portal Revolution and Portal Reloaded

Wow, that's quite a lot more than I expected.
