I've been working through H.P. Lovecraft's words in (roughly) chronological order. I think last night was the first time I read "The Music of Erich Zann" and I rather enjoyed it.

My own surprise at another human's surprise that the World Wide Web somehow does not belong to them. :flan_confused:
@ephemeris That is truly desperate and I'm glad you're still here with us! :flan_laugh:
Since our office coffee is barely drinkable I decided to throw in a packet of hot chocolate into the swill.
I expect to have x-ray vision soon!

Nice, someone just decommissioned one of my Production servers by accident! Happy Friday! :flan_thumbs:
@debugninja Neato, thanks! :flan_cheer:

Is EXIF metadata saved in uploaded photos?
(Obvious answer is to strip it first because I'm a paranoid, but I am curious.)
"Sir, your instrument is under arrest for a recording a five and a half minute track where you played a bass line that exactly followed the guitar part." *throws a bass guitar into the back of a police cruiser*

@crash_override Or perhaps you could commune with the ancient demon, eBay... if you perform the correct ritual, some numbers associated with your name in a database somewhere become larger, and you can trade those numbers for use in other rituals! :flan_evil:
@crash_override Hmmm, if they are interesting looking shoes, perhaps you could easily convert them into planters for a small indoor plant. :flan_think:
Thrift store seems good too. Hopefully you have some other items to take since going there just to deal with a stranger's shoes seems suboptimal. :flan_smile:
I successfully summoned a pair of shoes to my front door by performing a ritual; vibrating the strands of the World Wide Web.
@mwlucas As a tech writer, you should probably have as good a backup plan for your custom dictionary as your manuscripts! :flan_laugh:
last minute gift ideas are in that place where I put that thing that time
Just submitted a WIP port for moonlight-qt and dependencies for #openbsd. Includes libva and the Intel-vaapi-driver for hardware acceleration ^_^
Now I can play borderlands 3 from my openbsd laptop. This is exciting to me.
I also included an updated port for ffmpeg that takes advantage of the new VA-API functionality, so that might make a few people happy.
@umgeher Nice coincidence, I just listened to that album yesterday for the first time in at least a year! :flan_laugh:
