Just noticed another bug. I calculate the time based on UTC. I got rid of the "-" sign, but on "0" hour UTC it say "25" hour present time.
To do: I don't know how often it pings the ntp time server to update the time.

The chaos on the backside.
I added a LM317 voltage regulator module 5.0V out, so I am not limited to the input voltage. 12V in atm
The displays I received from China were not good soldered. I recommend to order one spare for each color.

Thanks jeje !
It needs a bit tinkering to display the correct .de time format. I got rid of the minus sign, but it says 24:16 instead.
I hope to get an alarm clock some day.
next to do:
Add a keyboard to set ALARM time.
From time to time I tinker with it. I don't get rid of the minus sign in UTC. I have so many versions of jeje's code that I don't find the actual version. Switching to de.pool.ntp.org solved many problems.

I invent something that has flaws, but it works.
Maybe a small step for mankind, but a big step for me.

It works - not! I filnal invent something that works not perfectly. I can not jump forward to ask my future self for the correct code.
PETG costs the same as PLA. I hope I can place a PETG model at the window that is not destroyed by the sun. Never tested it.
