Hosted my first conference workshop this past week @PyConNA . It was really a great experience and a learning curve

Been hearing from a lot of folks that asked for financial assistance for #PyCon that they only got online passes.

They also mention that asking for more funds could make them lose the funding they were originally allotted.

@ThePSF can there be some transparency on how decisions for funding are made? Especially since the conversation is usually “There’s money left over!”

Would love to have more information to share with those asking me.
