Some internals!
I'm using a Traktor Audio2dj as the audio interface, hooked up to the headphone jack on the front as well as the RCA master out. A Roland UM-One will be the MIDI connectivity to the computer.
The sooty looking thing is an old usb hub I decided to strip of its housing. Note to self: don't use a lighter on 40 year old shrink-wrap unless you want it to have a 'survived a domestic fire' type of look 😅

Got some great help by the #mixxx gurus to try to compile a newer version of the app for win32.
Sadly it seems like my weak sauce tablet can't handle the pressure 🥲

@mixxx hey I'm building a DJ controller based on a Linx Vision tablet. Unfortunately it only works with 32bit windows 10. Could I build a 32bit version of this release myself or does it depend on features that are unsupported on 32bit? :)

Got these nifty MIDI expansion boards from Hobbytronics years ago. Unfortunately they don't follow the MIDI hardware spec so they don't work very well.
Fortunately, since they shared the schematic, it was a pretty easy fix. ✌️😅

@oleksiy yeah I wanted to but decided it'd be too much of a mindfuck to have a cross fader for a channel fader and what knobs go where 😅

The lid fits really good now. Had to print a new cap for one of the channels since one was missing and I like it more than the original ones since its less chunky 😅

Considering color coding the keycaps to match the arcade buttons, anyone got an .stl for Kailh low profile? 😇

The USB C connectors are a little bit crooked, it'll take some sanding to get them snug. 😇

The mixer has some RCA connectors I'm not going to use so I designed a plug I can use for connectivity. Got these really handy USB-C connectors that fit really nicely inside the RCA connectors 🥳
