@shaundon thank you! Feels a little buggy sometimes but I’m hoping that’s just an early beta thing. I’ll keep testing it as more updates drop.

Next, I have an idea for integrating Foundation Model into one of my projects. I haven't looked at the API yet so I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off, but I'm definitely gonna try!

Spent today playing around with liquid glass. Spent a lot of time tweaking colors, animations, spacing, and playing with the new glass effects. Also finally got that image scaling to work!

The developer sessions have been making me want to build a new app to play with all these new APIs. So many fun new toys. New WebKit might be the thing that finally gets me to learn a little JavaScript.

This is an extremely well-deserved Apple Design Award win for Watch Duty. I know a ton of people in SoCal who will tell you their lives absolutely depended on this app during the fires at the beginning of the year.

Throw them a (tax deductible!) donation as a way to congratulate them: watchduty.org/donate

Watch Duty: Wildfire Maps
Sherwood Forestry Service, USA
iPhone, iPad
When wildfires tore through southern California in January, Watch Duty served as a primary source for essential, ever-changing, and sometimes life-saving information. A non-commercial operation run by volunteers, Watch Duty once again proved itself the go-to app for a community impacted by wildfires, clearly and reliably offering updates, resources, and real-time guidance. Watch Duty's core functions and integrations are certainly impressive in their own right. But the best thing that can be said is that the app continued to step up when it needed to.
