@ammy @pluralistic This reminds me of how Hershey's makes chocolate.
First their research lab makes a new chocolate bar, using all the best ingredients.
Once they have it perfected, they bring in consumers to rate it.
Then they cheapen the ingredients, and do a taste test again.
And they repeat that process until they have found the absolute cheapest version of the chocolate bar that consumers still thinks tastes good enough to buy.
h/t to @bhawthorne , who originally passed that info on to me.
@proactivebusybody organization of files, ability to edit multiple files
@proactivebusybody Bridge picks up everything on the card - for each shot there is a RAW AND JPG file version. There is no way (that I can tell) to just import the RAW into bridge, then delete - just leaving the JPGs on the card for me to transfer to Google Photos. So, to tell Bridge I only want to import RAW files ... I have to click on each and every single RAW file which can be a lot of clicking ... then I have to do the same w/ Google Photos in selecting the JPG images ...
@proactivebusybody I do that now ... but if I take over 50 pictures - which is quite normal - I have to select the 50 that's going into Google and then select the 50 that's going into Bridge. If I could get Bridge just to pull the RAW files ... I would be set :)
Any Adobe Bridge users here? Is there a way to just import the RAW files off the card using Bridge? I like shooting in RAW + JPG to store my JPG images in Google Drive. But maybe I am going about this all wrong ... maybe I need to rethink my image file strategy, workflow and storage ...
