Hello fellow humans!
I create sewing patterns ad share them for free with the world. You can even adjust your patterns to your own measurements!

Let's bring back capes!
This pattern comes with two collar options or a hood and two length options and is fully lined.

Note: Yes, the arm slits are placed too low in this example. Don't worry, I fixed that in the final pattern. ;)
@asta to be fair my website is not widely known. But there is also freesewing.org which has a larger range I think. Anyway thanks for you support, I really appreciate you!
A new pattern company made a post on Threadloop claiming they're the first one to offer patterns with your own measurements, while offering a discount code for (first 100) users. This made me so mad I started listing missing patterns from @dressdeveloper that are free AND generated with your own measurements. There were a few there already but there will be loads more once I'm done!
@Astatuutikki I was wondering the same as I saw your picture 😁
@beate Hm, wenn ich da eine Linie durchziehe gehen die Knopfmarkierungen unter. Was würde dir vorschweben?
@beate Ja, da war die Nahtzugabe irgendwie falsch abgebogen. Ist korrigiert.
Was meinst du wegen Teil I? Das hat eine Beschreibung, nur relativ klein unten auf dem schmalen Teil.
Yes, I am late. This was supposed to be ready for #shirtwaistseptember2025, but well - life happened. Nethertheless, now I have a pretty new dress. :)
It is loosely vintage inspired with a big grown on collar and a cuff detail on the short sleeves.

You can choose between several sleeve lengths and skirt options and even create the pattern for your very own measurements!
@asta understandably. Have you tried using a projector? 🙂
I think this cropped cardigan fits extra nice over fit and flair dresses, what do you think?

@elfkin oh yes, good old geometry. Since I calculate my patterns digitally and cannot use things like a compass, I have the same thoughts about good old Pythagoras. Pretty sure I butchered the spelling though 😅
@sbourne that is a very valid argument. Thank you
Oh damn it. I want to participate in #shirtwaistseptember2025 and I just finished the pattern - only to realize that I did not bought enough fabric. I am a full meter short. So I did order more fabric - and just got a message that the delivery will be delayed to next week. Which leaves me with only two weekends to actually #sewing, and the thought is stressing me out. What do I do, make a narrower skirt? Do a simpler pattern? Just risk it and wait for the fabric? Argh.

@mutter01 Welcome to the team! 👋🏻
Want to create custom sized sewing patterns without learning to draft? My website offers a bunch of free #sewing patterns which you can feed with your own measurements!
This under 5 minutes video explains how that works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdV0TPUqvjA
Yes, the pattern for #shirtwaistseptember2025 is coming together nicely. Just a few more tweaks. Have to finish a different project first before I can sew this.
@yazzea freut mich! 😃
