@pauleveritt @brianokken This is something most Python devs should be paying attention to!
I should probably update this to something useful, but I'm drinking good cyder, so this is probably not the best time...

We are developing a PUSH standard for WebDAV, CalDAV and CardDAV! It's a big task - one of the biggest we ever had. At the end it will benefit the whole Open *DAV ecosystem.
We've kicked off this project at Nextcloud Conf this year a few weeks ago and Sunik had a quick overview talk about that. Re-Watch it here:

#UX designers, please don't change mouse pointers into cool blobs or whatever. I know it looked great in your demo, but it just messes with basic web functionality, is problematic for accessibility and just plain annoying.
#ConspiracyTheory subscribers are always looking for deeply nested conspiracies involving satanic cabals ready to take over the world from a hundred different locations simultaneously, but always miss the genuine conspiracy right under their noses: fossil fuel companies buying political inaction across the globe for decades.
I've just listened to @brianokken episode where he's talking about returning the name to the original Python Test from the Test & Code of late.
But what if he starts working in Rust? π€

@webology @brettcannon DDG held so much promise and I've no doubt it works for many people, it's just a shame their model appears to rely on the abilities of other engines.
I actually still miss AltaVista, though unquestionably what I recall would be of limited use two decades on.
