After a 23-year career in HigherEd IT, I have been recently laid off and am ready to #GetFediHired for remote it support, application administration, and security roles.

I have been fortunate to have a long and varied career:

- remote technical support
- SharePoint document management,
- preparing monthly CIS security metrics for our team,
- designing and implementing the first systems-wide combined endpoint asset inventory,
- application administrator for the PaperCut printing platform.

This was also on a cheap TDK Type I tape and sounds great. Wonder what this would record if I had a Type III? Thing is those cassettes are quite pricy these days.

Just made my first mix tape in over 25 years. That is as fun as I remember. My free TEAC A-170S does an amazing job for its age. Solid machine.

Well it has been 12 years since I have experienced this but I got laid off last week. Thankfully I have 10 months of employment still but it sucks as I loved this job and worked with one of the best teams ever. Nothing's quite as fun and petty as making a comment on Tiktok and someone else starting an argument in the replies (I never try to do this on purpose but it happens from time to time) and then when it is super heated just deleting the comment.

Wish I had installed central air years ago. This is totally worth it.

Got a great game free (Deliver At All Costs) via the Epic store, installed on the #SteamDeck via the Heroic launcher (actually synced my save amazingly) and cannot get it to recognize the SteamDeck controller input. Only been playing it on my PC with a controller. WTH.

@patc I will not buy another Adobe product for personal use ever and just sticking with my CS5 version of Photoshop. Luckily I only really use Photoshop and in a pinch can use gimp. The Adobe creative cloud is a joke and I have to use it on my work laptop. Super annoying.
