I found out my bf was cheating on me, so, while I was trying to move out, one morning I peed in a jug and poured some into his 18 bottles of expensive whisky. As far as I know he's still drinking them. My friends and I now call it pissky.

@anon_opin Limoncello is pretty easy to make. Rind of eight lemons, 750ml vodka, 300g sugar dissolved in 600ml water. Shove in a sterilised jar for 3-4 weeks, strain into bottles. Substitute lemons for appropriate number of oranges, grapefruit etc.

As a by-product, use the juice from your de-rinded lemons to make lemonade (mix with 150g sugar, 1.25l water, leave overnight, strain & bottle)

This got me thinking about his other songs that are inspired by or reference his time in the Beatles - All Those Years Ago, Living in the Material World are all nostalgic (as is When We Was Fab), whereas Wah Wah and Sue Me Sue You Blues are very cynical and from an era when he clearly had some lingering (and well-documented) "issues" from their break-up.

@anon_opin It turns out that there are a lot of problems associated with settling Mars and it may take more than just a "can-do" attitude to solve them. Luckily @ZachWeinersmith has written an excellent book about it. Well worth a read even if you're not planning to launch your own Mars colonisation in the next couple of years.

@anon_opin It's such a wreck that it would still cost billions to fix it before turning it into a museum. Given today's date, perhaps there's a more "bang-y" solution? We could even try to persuade Farage to hold a sit-in protest at the same time.
