Just because my "definition" of "traffic light" is more expansive and comprehensive than you could imagine doesn't mean you get to lock me out of my account

Feeling unusually connected to my "clan", whatever that is, when someone is completely unfamiliar with my last name and its spelling.
It's a treat to see one more brilliantly entrancing music video from Daft Punk. I'm impressed how well it put me into an imaginative space about progress and futurism.

It's cute that the time and weather are synced between them. @lofibeats
I'd love to collect a list of brand synergies that work as well as Daft Punk/Tron
Lofi Boy has launched
This has significantly altered my perspective on HOAs, and I'm the secretary of our low-key one.
That's not to ignore those who came and went for important reasons and who had criticisms; I know I watched a polished narrative that actually spanned long, sometimes grueling years. I still appreciate the deeper understanding I walk away with, recognizing the immense complexity either compressed or left out in the nigh-endless edit.

Transformational. That's what this company, its people, and this documentary series all are. The game is phenomenal in creativity, fun, and endless empathy for its characters and subjects. The documentary is a landmark in the history of video games by showing in more depth and clarity what development truly is and what it takes. The company I laud for fostering the future of the industry with its environment which stands in contrast to so many others.
I also really love his turn near the start about how this isn't a story of hopelessness, because there were many folks who acted heroically throughout this saga. This isn't something to listen to just to feel sad; there's more here.
I've been listening to the latest Buried Truths season about a SW Georgia county where, in the 50s, local law enforcement brutally killed a Black man, and a long series of events followed. Hank Klibanoff does a truly excellent job telling the story in an approachable way despite the subject matter. Even just the first episode (40 minutes) gives a strong sense of place and what happened.
I enjoy Lateral clips on TikTok, but it's extra special when you know the answer and watch folks work through it, like knowing the one coolest thing about Waffle House.

Found the one issue of Squirrel Girl I missed when I visited year years ago. I hope they find a new place.

See story #3 on Carter's 1980 failed reelection in part due to Republican undermining of the hostage crisis:
"As the years passed, Barnes 'often thought an injustice had been done to Mr. Carter'"
I can't read the NYT piece, but I hope appropriate light is put on the hostages themselves.
Being a political football is bad, but so is having your release delayed for months.
Where did this text communication phenomenon come from of putting lots and lots of periods between what are basically sentences or sentence fragments?
It might come from ESL folks.
I was annoyed at my mouse for sending extra clicks and generally showing signs of needing to be replaced, but then I confirmed that I've had it since 2015, which is a pretty solid run!
