@BobHorowitz @jeridansky Bob, I went through many tooth troubles over the past few years and I sympathize so hard. I’m on a first name basis with my endodontist, who is very lovely if you find yourself wanting a second opinion. They can sometimes drill through the existing crown, and then replace with a new crown once the root canal underneath heals.

@kingrat my allergies have been gnarly and I don’t even do allergies normally. I thjnk air quality sucks and there’s a lot of pollen.

@drawks the gear shift topper ripped me right through time to 1988. I’m with my friends outside in the apartment building courtyard, killing time on the swings before our dads come home and our moms call us in for dinner. The only neighbor with a car is lying prostrate underneath it on the ground, trying to fix its perennial troubles. He just put in that gear shift, even if he hasn’t had a chance to use it.

my partner, after being with me for years, pointed out that I greet cows on the side of the road with “hello ladies!”

about 300 people at the Colma #nokings protest at the Tesla dealership. all 3 corners packed.

saw the Colma police cruise by several times but they didn’t even get out of the car. we also got the driver of the car carrier truck to honk in solidarity.

@finn oh I know. I remember crying at the Metreon. but Muppets are 3x that and still relevant.

alright folks, the Muppets clearly win and I agree. While I love Dug (and my sister’s dog is also named Dug), he’s not nearly as timeless as the Muppets and if I have to live with these things for the next 10 years, I’m gonna go for the design that’s proven itself to be iconic and not a trend.

@suldrew I still remember carrying my own MiFi when I rode Caltrain to Mountain View a decade ago. There was a dead coverage spot between Palo Alto and Mountain View that always came at the worst possible moment. Glad to hear this has been solved.
