Earlier today Elon Musk said that my ban was temporary, 45 min later he denied my appeal to reinstate my account and confirmed that I am *permanently* banned. The email I just received says the decision cannot be reversed.
I have never once violated Twitters rules or terms of service. I’ve never had a single tweet flagged, my account was permanently banned with no warning and with no reason, after I reached out to Musk for comment.

@juddlegum It seemed to me that Jack's initial tweet was access driven and not in any way tied to what Jack believed. Now that Musk isn't giving him access, he's changing his tune.

@corinne Good question. To me, it seems no different than copying and pasting their sentences into Google or other plagiarism websites. I discuss plagiarism and related academic misconduct in the syllabus and teach units on this every semester. So students are already quite aware that run their stuff through these sorts of programs.
