Happy #StarTrekDay 🖖🏻 I think you should know that growing up, one of my celebrity crushes was Leonard Nimoy's Mr. Spock. And whilst everyone I knew had 'normal' teenager posters in their rooms, of boybands and popstars, I had a giant poster of Spock instead.

Bad news is that I seem to have developed a cold yesterday. Good news is that it's allowing me to get a lot of writing done whilst I'm stuck in the house!

I was starting to feel a bit festive, until I had the task of buying christmas cards earlier today. There's nothing that can squash christmas spirit faster than opening a card you thought was nice, then the inside is just printed 'LOTS OF LOVE' ... when the card is intended for your work colleague.

I'm a #writer of fictional things, and am currently writing my first #novel. I write #shortstories, #scripts and #poetry too.

I also do #photography, mainly of animals, nature and architecture. In the past, I've been a #radiopresenter and created #radiodrama.

My other hobbies include #reading, #walking, #art and #knitting. My fave TV shows are #buffy, #seinfeld, #frasier, and #chuck - but I'm also partial to some sci-fi geekiness.
